The Rending Vengeance served not as a command ship for the Romulan Navy, but as a support vessel for the MCA forces during their civil war. The Vengeance coordinated counter attack and long-range strikes against Klingon backed rebels. The Vengeance also conducted raids against supplies and material support from both the Klingons and Orions. In 2331, the Vengeance was officially sold the the MCA along with a number of other vessels. Reports indicate that the vessel was re-armed using a mix of Ferengi and Cardassian weapons.
