The Slayer of Reprisal served only four years along the Romulan-Klingon border before being transferred to the Federation border. While the Slayer did not engage Federation forces along the neutral zone, records indicate she did engage Federation interests posing as an IKS vessel.
The Slayer was recalled in 2370 to be quickly upgraded in anticipation of possible conflict with the Dominion. When the Cardassian Union aligned with the Dominion in 2373, the Slayer was assigned to escort duty for civilian Romulan vessels heading towards the conflict zone.
Following the Romulan alignment with the Federation-Klingon alliance, the Slayer primarily saw engagements with Orion privateers and other pirate groups taking advantage of the conflict. The Slayer survived the war and eventually aligned with the Romulan Rebirth Movement. The vessel was eventually abandoned in 2397. The hulk has been scrapped for parts by several groups.
