Apollo II Class XI Cruiser

Design/concept by PT Riley & Jim Stevenson

NOTES:
The Apollo class started life basically as a prototype design study and was never intended to go into production. When tensions between the Federation and the Romulan Empire increased following the Tomed Incident, the Apollo class was put into full production in the event of war. In the end, only ten of these ships were built.

All 10 Apollo class cruisers were constructed at the Tellarite shipyards. The USS Vesta was used as a training vessel until 2334. The remaining nine hulls are were under consideration for upgrade but were retired by 2335.
