One of the last vessels purchased directly from the Klingons, the T-63 was as unpopular as any other Klingon-Romulan hybrid design, but proved somewhat more capable than other designs. 35 Type 4s are in active service with the Romulan Free State and 2 are in service to other Romulan factions. 1 Type 2 and 9 Type 4s have been destroyed. 1 Type 2, 1 Type 3 and 11 Type 4s have been scrapped. The RFS is fielding inquiries concerning the sale of these vessels. The Federation has requested that those sold be disarmed first.
