NOTES:
Similar to the Phantom and Kestral class of superscout, the Arusha was one of the largest scout designs to be fielded by Star Fleet. With additional analysis capabilities and research bays, the Arusha can easily observe and monitor a wide range of locations and different phenomenon. The Arusha is also well armed, due to it’s primary mission far from immediate support.
A total of 32 were built between 2297 and 2309. 1 Mk I is listed as missing. 1 Mk I was scrapped after being severely damaged during a spacial anomaly study. 30 Mk Is were converted to Mk IIs. 1 Mk II was destroyed, 1 is listed as missing and 1 was disarmed and sold to Bio/Genetic Research, Inc. 27 Mk IIs were eventually converted to Mk IIIs.
Of the 27 Mk IIIs fielded, 8 remain on active duty. 10 Mk IIIs are currently in reserve fleets. 2 Mk IIIs were destroyed, 1 Mk III was captured during the Dominion War. 4 Mk IIIs have been scrapped. 2 Mk IIIs have been disarmed and sold (1 to the University of Alpha Centauri and 1 to the Andorian Home Guard.)
