Lay out two Star Trek Combat Simulator map-sheets in the configuration shown. Place a large planet along the center of the left hand map. This represents the area of space where the conflict takes place. Use the Graduate Starship Tactics Course rules in this scenario.

Deployment
The Defending force deploys with 5 hexes of the planet. Place a single upside down counter in orbit of the planet. This is the unfinished Z-4 defense station.

The Attacking force consists of:

Victory is determined by the total number of victory points at the conclusion of The Four Years War campaign. View the Victory Point Table to determine the total points awarded.

Although the Z-4 is nearly complete, it is not powered yet. It has 60 hit points. Add 1 victory point for each 10 points of damage done by the Federation player.
Ending:
The scenario ends on turn 12 due to the arrival of Klingon reinforcements.
