A total of 145 Model As were built. 69 Model As bere converted to B models. 34 have been destroyed, 4 were captured by the Cardassians, 2 are listed as lost, , 6 have been scrapped, and 30 were sold.

Of the 209 Model Bs fielded, 131 were converted to Model Cs. 39 have been destroyed, 3 have been captured (2 by Breen forces and 1 by Cardassian forces), 5 are listed as missing, 1 was scrapped and 30 were sold.

Of the 231 Model Cs fielded, including 100 new built Model Cs, 30 are in reserve fleets, 141 have been converted to Model Ds, 21 have been destroyed, 5 have been captured, 1 is listed as missing and 3 have been scrapped. 30 have been sold.

The Model D was the last variant to be produced before the class was retired. Of the 119 new built and 141 converted hulls, 66 are in reserve fleets, 61 have been destroyed (including 20 destroyed destroyed in the Tijusti Production Facility disaster), 12 have been captured (4 by Breen forces, 3 by Cardassian Forces, 1 by local Tellarites, 3 by local Orions and 1 by Klingon forces), 1 is listed as missing, 20 have been scrapped (16 damaged during the Tijusti event), and 100 have been sold.
