Of the 55 Model As produced, 1 is reported lost, 7 have been destroyed in combat, 2 have been scrapped and 45 were converted to Model Bs.

A total of 135 Model Cs were constructed. 3 are reported as missing, 14 have been destroyed, 5 have been scrapped. 2 have been captured (1 by the Cardassians and one by the Klingons) and 30 have been sold to other governments. 126 were eventually converted to Model Ds.

Of the 73 Model Ds built, 1 is reported as missing, 20 have been destroyed, 4 have been scrapped and 1 was captured by the Breen. 20 were sold to other governments.

293 Model Es were fielded, including 140 new hulls and 153 converted Model Ds. 2 are reported missing, both believed to have been lost to combat with the Klingons. 32 were destroyed, 7 have been scrapped and 4 are listed as captured (1 by Breen forces, 2 by Cardassian forces and 1 by Klingon forces). 40 were sold, primarily converted Model Ds.

80 Model Fs were built, with a total of 237 Model Es converted to Model F specs. 18 are known to have been destroyed, 2 were scrapped and 1 was captured by Klingon forces. 30 were placed in reserve fleets within the Republic.

The Model G ended production in late 2315. A total of 306 remain in active duty despite their age. 1 is reported as missing, 20 have been destroyed, 4 have been scrapped and 1 was captured by the Breen. 20 were sold to other governments.
