\nAllowing industrial, medicinal, and biological goods to be manufactured under gravity-controlled conditions, R-1 Artisan<\/em> Type orbital manufacturing centers can supplement planet-side factories or act as independent concerns. In addition to enlarged turbo-escalators which can transfer large amounts of raw, materials and goods, the Artisan has the following modifications from the standard R-1 design.<\/p>\n

\nManual and automated manufacturing machines are located here.<\/p>\n

Factory Area 2 (Level 2)<\/strong>
\nOn this level are automated, gravity-controlled manufacturing facilities.<\/p>\n

Administration Center (Level 3)<\/strong>
\nHousing administrators and guests, this level also contains several conference centers.<\/p>\n

Small Craft Storage Level (Level 7)<\/strong>
\nBesides staring shuttlecraft and repair pods. this level also houses several travel pods.<\/p>\n

Raw Materials Bay (Level 9)
\nRaw materials used in manufacturing operations are stored here.<\/p>\n

Water Storage Area (Level 13)<\/strong>
\nStation water storage, filtration, and purification sys- are centralized on this level.<\/p>\n

Loading Bays (Level 15)<\/strong>
\nGravity-controlled manufacturing bays replace repair facilities here, and the docking bays facilitate the transfer of product and raw materials. Additional cargo transporters are also housed on this level.<\/p>\n
