Expected to be a cheaper and more efficient replacement for the Galor<\/em> class, the Ekoor<\/em> remained in active production through the war, but was eventually cancelled as reconstruction continued. 11 Type-1s<\/em> remain in active service with 5 now in reserve fleets. 1 was destroyed and 1 was scrapped.
