A total of 216 D-47As<\/em> were built before construction ended. 33 were destroyed; 4 were scrapped. 1 was captured by by Star Fleet. 4 are listed as missing and 10 are in service to ranking families of the Empire. 145 were converted to D-47Bs<\/em>. <\/p>\n

The B model saw extensive use during the Dominion War contributing to the high attrition rate of this class. 73 Bs were destroyed and 31 scrapped – almost all after combat with Dominion\/Cardassian forces. 4 Bs have been captured (1 by the Romulans, 2 by the Cardassians, and 1 by Breen forces.) 6 are listed as missing and 50 are in service to ranking Imperial families. <\/p>\n

The D-47 was produced at the Fonawl, Gnuu Re’ and Q’onoS facilities.
