Design Notes:<\/strong> There are a few small issues with Chris’ original design. Chris used a heavy disruptor that hadn’t been finished in the design concept stage, but in the end, with the shorter ‘J’ firing chart, we were able to use a finalized version without changing the end number too much. However, Chris also used the “weapon penalty” stats for the weapon systems. The easiest solution was to simply add in the aft disruptors from his Type-3 version to the Type-1 and Type-2. This kept the final WDF number fairly close to his original and yet kept the ships ‘legal’ in design terms. The historical text does need a significant re-write, and had not been added at this time.
