There is bit of a conflict with the naming convention for this design. Jim created this Durrett (an extrapolation of his Anubis design) to be a predecessor to the FASA Durrett class<\/a>. The USS Richard T. Durrett would eventually be updated in the same fashion as the USS Enterprise which becomes the Enterprise class. We had toyed with the idea of a new class name, and with possibly making FASA’s design the Durrett II, but in the end, with the Durrett so established in FASA lore, we went with the full name.
