The Majestic<\/em> is considered by many to be one of the most luxurious and ostentatious Orion blockade runners ever produced. Designed as a show piece, the Majestic<\/em> is larger than most Orion vessels, and is one of the few Orion ships to use a quad nacelle design. <\/p>\n

Launched in 2270 to surprising fan fair, internal cabins on the Majestic<\/em> are large and luxurious, with individual crew quarters as large as most officers quarters on other vessels. The entertainment gallery onboard is a three deck high replica of the Andorian Grand Palace. A second more private meeting space is modeled on the Terran Versaillas Salon de Mars. Despite its opulent layout, the Majestic<\/em> is also a surprisingly capable transport and pirate vessel. <\/p>\n

The A-1<\/em> model is fitted with a Nausican main warp drive and shields, supplementing the standard Orion equipment. Heavy disruptors and a powerful main torpedo gave the A-1<\/em> the ability to strike quickly and effectively against multiple targets. The A-2<\/em> model saw a significant upgrading of the weapons, and replacement of the deflectors after the inability to obtain replacement components for the Nausican shields. <\/p>\n

The A-2<\/em> was still in service and operated across the Triangle, now considered a “classic” vessel. The Majestic<\/em> operated for both the Klingons and the IKS, a situation that proved to be lucrative, if tense. The A-2<\/em> variant remain active until being seriously damaged in 2298 during a dispute with AOFW forces in the Triangle. While the Majestic<\/em> was able to escape AOFW territory, her reputation was tarnished and her entire warp drive was damaged. At the time, the ship was give to the captains son, with the intent that the young Orion would part out the remains of the ship and purchase a more lucrative vessel with the proceeds. However, Nelka the Negotiator, as the young Orion would soon be known as, was able to obtain a dual set of warp nacelles from a Federation source. Shortly after completing installation of the new warp drive, Nelka took the Majestic<\/em> back to Orion space and refit a number of her other systems and once again fielded the Majestic<\/em> as a showpiece.<\/p>\n

Officially relaunched in 2300, Nelka would continue to captain the Majestic<\/em>, showing the flag, conduction trade operations and occasionally smuggling or raiding when the opportunity presented it self. Star Fleet Intelligence then lost track of the Majestic<\/em> when it disappeared on the far side of Klingon territory. Most believed that Nelka had attempted to negotiate with the Klingon’s bitter rival, the Kinshaya. However, in 2321, the Majestic<\/em> returned to Orion space and was refit to the A-4<\/em> model.<\/p>\n

The A-4 Majestic<\/em> remained in service until some time in 2373. Last reports concerning the vessel showed that its captain had apparently thrown his hat in with multiple Ferengi entities who has attempted to smuggle arms to Dominion controlled planets. The Majestic<\/em> has since disappeared and is believed destroyed.
