\n“This had better be our target Krev, or I will have you cleaning the Targ pen for the rest of this war!” <\/p>\n

Captain Kobh’s frustration continued to grow. His orders were specific and his target was clear. The Daunting had already passed up three other targets of opportunity to focus on the Federation frigate that was supposedly in this area.<\/p>\n

Supposedly.<\/p>\n

Minutes passed, then an hour. All Kobh could do was sit and fume. It wasn’t the crews fault. It was their leaders. Then entire battle plan seemed to precise. Too focused. How could true warriors be expected to fight like this.<\/p>\n

Minutes continued to pass.<\/p>\n

“Target my lord!” announced Krev. Kobh held his enthusiasm. Was it just another freighter, or a scout.<\/p>\n

“It’s the frigate…our target” Krev said with a gleam in his eye. <\/p>\n

Kobh simply grinned and began giving commands. Battle was finally upon them.\n<\/td>\n

GAME SET-UP<\/h3>\n

Lay out one Star Trek Combat Simulator map-sheet in the configuration shown. This represents the area of space where the conflict takes place. Use the Graduate Starship Tactics Course rules in this scenario.<\/p>\n

Defender<\/strong>
\nThe Defending force consists of:<\/p>\n

\n1 Coventry<\/em> Mk III<\/strong> Class X Frigate<\/a> (USS Assurance<\/em>)\n<\/p>\n

Deployment<\/strong>
\nThe Defending force deploys along the right edge of the map.<\/p>\n

Attacker<\/strong>
\nThe Attacking force consists of:<\/p>\n

\n3 D-7<\/em> C<\/strong> Class VII Cruisers<\/a> (IKV Daunting, IKV Meteor, IKV Tormentor<\/em>)\n<\/p>\n

Deployment<\/strong>
\nThe attacking force enter from the right edge of the map.<\/p>\n

Victory Conditions:<\/strong>
\nThe Attacker wins by destroying the Federation frigate. The Defender wins by destroying one or more Klingon vessels. If both side are destroyed, it is considered a draw.<\/p>\n
